Meiji University Global COE Program for the Formation and Development of Mathematical Sciences Based on Modeling and Analysis at Meiji Institute for Advanced Study of Mathematical Sciences (MIMS) offers a unique environment to learn and conduct research in Mathematical Sciences with an emphasis on elucidating the essence of complex phenomena through mathematical modeling and analysis. For example, MIMS is one of the few places in the world where transdisciplinary, collaborative research is conducted in fields related to Mathematic Sciences to bridge the gap between mathematics and sciences. As part of our Global COE Program, young researchers and students are able to learn and conduct research alongside exceptional leaders and mentors with diverse experience related to mathematics and complex phenomena.
